| About marbles with an attitude |
| After many years of keeping
a rather simple Marbles with an Attitude
© web site that included only the cartoon
images
it was decided that a more systematic and dynamic effort was necessary if anyone hoped
for a more positive contribution to the campaign for the reunification of the
Parthenon Sculptures. As there were already many organisations that worked for this
purpose and while we didn't want to compete with any of them we decided to act
on a slightly different level. The first step was to create some simple
flyers containing the cartoon images. On several occasions these were distributed outside the British Museum. Next step
was to create some more sophisticated flyers that included translations
in six European languages and finally the last stage was to design several
T-shirts with prints of the cartoons on the front side to help
increase the public awareness on this issue even further.
We hope that you will find our contribution to be a positive one and that you will want to support us in any possible way. Apokrisi Contact details:

| This project wouldn't have been possible to start without the help of several people. The continuous influx of ideas, comments and general help during the various stages of the design and implementation of this site and the Marbles with an Attitude movement is invaluable. |
